That's exactly what I do. I store all the raw data in the FIT file (even from cars that don't get counted in the official count). I can then adjust the threshold for my analysis. This will be even more important as I integrate video into the sight and can confirm whether a car actually passed via AI processing of video. I am busy working on that this summer with an amazing student of mine at Samford University.
What about keeping all the raw data and doing the thresholding/filtering all server side?
